Dr Inge Putri is a specialist gynaecologist and an AGES certified minimally invasive gynaecological surgeon, focusing on endometriosis, fibroids, ovarian cysts, pelvic pain and abnormal uterine bleeding. Fluent in English, Bahasa Indonesia, and Mandarin, she ensures clear communication and a comfortable experience for patients from diverse backgrounds.
Inge graduated from the University of Melbourne in 2011 and completed her Obstetrics and Gynaecology training at the Joan Kirner Women's and Children's Hospital and Royal Women's Hospital in Melbourne and pursued further studies through UNSW, obtaining a Master of Reproductive Medicine with Excellence. She completed an additional 2 years highly regarded AGES (Australian Gynaecological Endoscopy and Surgery Society) Fellowship training, focusing on hysteroscopic, laparascopic and robotic surgery in Townsville.
During her training, she received the AGES/Hologic Hysteroscopic travelling fellowship award and the Mizuno-Ratnam Young Gynaecologist award in 2024. Most recently, she was awarded the RANZCOG Brown Craig travelling fellowship award to Bordeaux, IFEM Endo, a renowned centre of excellence dedicated exclusively to the medical and surgical management of endometriosis.
She currently works at the Gynaecology 1 unit at the Royal Women's Hospital, as well as at Endosurgical unit and Public Fertility Service at the Joan Kirner Women's and Children's Hospital, working in both clinics and theatres.
Inge is actively involved in global health efforts, providing education and training to doctors and midwives in rural Indonesia. Outside of her clinical practice, she enjoys a balanced and active lifestyle - she loves cooking, playing pickleball, exploring nature, and travelling the world with her three energetic children who keep her on her toes.

As an AGES‑trained surgeon, Dr Putri is highly skilled in advanced laparoscopic and robotic procedures, offering women safer, less invasive alternatives with faster recovery times. Her surgical services include:
• Robotic‑assisted laparoscopic hysterectomy
• Robotic‑assisted laparoscopic myomectomy (fibroid removal) with uterine preservation
• Robotic‑assisted laparoscopic excision of endometriosis including severe endometriosis
• Diagnostic and operative hysteroscopic removal of polyps/ fibroids
• Endometrial ablations for the treatment of heavy menstrual bleeding
• Diagnosis and treatment of infertility / subfertility conditions including surgical treatment for infertility when needed. If IVF or assisted reproductive technology is required, Dr Putri will refer you to one of her trusted IVF colleagues.
